Freshwater Fisheries Manager

Karl is one of the true elder statesmen of the wholesale pet business. He graduated from Ohio State University in March of 1974 with a B.S. in Zoology, and got his start in the wholesale fish business working for Verco Industries in May of 1974. He continued with Verco until mid summer of 1983, when he was persuaded (duped) into moving to Atlanta and going to work for Greg Judge, taking Bob Olson's old job running the fish room at Southeast Pet. He worked for Southeast Pet until 1987, when he returned to Columbus, Ohio to set up Top Fish. He was persuaded (duped) into coming back to Atlanta to join the Sun Pet team in October of 2000 as the freshwater fishery manager.

Karl has two grown children, and is currently both single and available. He is a fine figure of a man, albeit a man of few words. He has a dry sense of humor, and is fond of biking, soccer, and margaritas in the hot tub.
